Cillian Murphy has been nominated in the Best Actor category for his role in Peaky Blinders.
The 40-year-old was given the nod by the UK’s TV Choice Awards for his performance as Tommy Shelby in the hit BBC Two crime-drama series.
Also up for Best Actor is Taylor Swifts new beau Tom Hiddleston, for his role in The Night Manager, as well as Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi and Downton Abbey’s Jim Carter.

Peaky Blinders, which was recently confirmed for two more seasons, has also been nominated for Best Drama Series.
The ceremony will take place in London on September 5, with the awards being voted for by the public via the TV Choice website from July 8.
Meanwhile, Cillian is currently working on set of Christopher Nolan’s latest film project, WWII thriller Dunkirk.
