Cillian Murphy has been cast for new film, The Party.
The film, written and to be directed by Sally Potter, will star Patricia Clarkson, Kristin Scott Thomas, Bruno Ganz, Timothy Spall and Emily Mortimer.
According to Variety, The Party began principal photography in London on Wednesday, and has been described as a “comedy wrapped around a tragedy”.

The Party unfolds in real-time in a contemporary London house, starting as a celebration and ending with “blood on the floor.”
It is not yet known when the film will be released.
The news comes after the trailer for Cillian’s new movie Anthropoid was released.Â
