Rugby star Cian Healy and singer Brian Kennedy have got themselves into a war of words.
Ireland player Cian seems to have rubbed Brian up the wrong way with a tweet he sent out while enjoying a Kesha gig at Gay Pride.
The ex-boyfriend of Holly Carpenter was headed to the gig in LA when he Tweeted:
“So I’m going to a Kesha gig at Pride in Hollywood tonight… Should be interesting! #backsagainstthewall.”
Singer Brian was quick to respond to the tweet, admitting he was “disappointed” in Cian’s choice of words.
“‘backst thewall’?? I didn’t think anyone talked like that anymore. How deeply disappointing in one so young,” he replied.
Defending himself, Cian replied: “Why would I be at a pride gig if I meant offence by that comment? It’s a light hearted tweet. Sorry if it was taken the wrong way.
But it didn’t end there, as Brian replied once again.
” ‘sorry if it was taken wrong’ ? You clearly don’t get it. At least you had the good grace to reply. #Foodforthought,” he wrote.
