Best seller Cathy Kelly has revealed she’s not that interested in turning her books into movies.

The Irish author told Goss.ie she isn’t interested in following in Cecelia Ahern’s footsteps just yet.

While Cecelia has made waves in Hollywood with PS I Love You and her recent film Love,Rosie, Cathy admitted she’s not sure if films would suit her.

“I’d love to do it at some stage. Ages ago someone was trying to turn one of my books into a film and I was working with them on it,” she explained.

“But I don’t know if I can. Maybe if someone else does the main work?

“I don’t mind tweaking it but my books aren’t exactly for filming,” she told Goss.ie.
