TV3 star Glenda Gilson has revealed she will be taking her husband-to-be’s name after they walk down the aisle this summer.
The model and TV presenter said she wants to be traditional and take Rob McNaughton’s surname, but admitted she will stay Glenda Gilson when it comes to work.
Glenda will marry Rob on August 29th in front of around 200 guests, and revealed she won’t be following in fellow Xpose presenter Karen Koster’s steps, and won’t be marrying abroad.
“I always said I would get married here. There are so many beautiful places in Ireland.”

The pair are set to marry in Doonbeg Hotel, Co Clarem, which was recently bought by Donald Trump.
“I’ve a lot done but there is still so much more stuff to do,” she told the Sunday Mirror.
““I’m trying not to panic and I certainly don’t want to become the bride from hell or he won’t want to marry
me.”
But one thing she doesn’t have to worry about is the wedding dress, as Glenda has already found the perfect gown.
“I have it and I absolutely love it. It’s not what people might be expecting. But I love it and my mum loves it, so that is what is important. We are the only two people who will get to see it before the wedding.”
