Bridget & Eamon has landed on Amazon in the US.
The news is sure to delight show creators Jennifer Zamparelli, Bernard O’Shea and Jason Butler after the comedy series went down a hit with RTÉ audiences.
The show is set in 1980s Ireland, and stars Jennifer as housewife Bridget, and Bernard as her husband Eamon.
Now available to stream in the US, Amazon users have already been raving about the hilarious series, which started as a sketch on RTÉ’s Republic of Telly.
“Great mix of Father Ted, My Hero and good old British comedies. For the nostalgic, it’s a hilariously accurate representation of the 80s. I wish more modern comedies did that,” one user commented.
The news comes after Bridget & Eamon was picked up by UK comedy channel Gold late last year.
