Rugby star Brian O’Driscoll has told how he knew he was going to marry Amy Huberman – after just eight weeks.
The Ireland player set up a chance meeting with the TV star after becoming smitten following her appearance on Tubridy Tonight.
And Brian admits: “After eight weeks I had a fair idea I wanted to marry her.”
The 35-year-old was aided in his first meeting by PR Joanne Byrne, with his story that he happened to bump into them in a Dublin hotel while meeting some mates who were late.

However after Amy herself was delayed, their first meeting was gatecrashed by some of his drunk rugby pals and he arranged to meet up the week after properly at a comedy gig.
And BOD, who only then asked for her number, admitted that eight weeks later he knew that she was The One.
He said: “I said [to Joanne], ‘Do you know who this girl is? I’ve never seen her around’. And she said, ‘She lives in London.’
“She said, ‘No worries – we’ll set something up.’ I didn’t even have to say it. We concocted a situation where we were all going to meet in the Merrion with Norma Sheehan.
“But they were late, I was sitting in the car and calling Joanne going, ‘I don’t know about this’. She said, ‘Are you a man or a mouse?’ I said, ‘I feel like a mouse at the moment. Should I just head off?’

“But she said, ‘Come on,’ and I headed in. But it didn’t work out how I’d have hoped, because two of my buddies came in half cut, who had had a few extra pints they weren’t meant to have and hijacked the whole situation.
“But we arranged to meet again a few days later at a comedy gig and that’s when I asked Amy for her number.
“After eight weeks I had a fair idea I wanted to marry her. People say when you know you know, and genuinely it was a case of that.”
BOD also revealed he asked Amy to move in with him eight months after first meeting her – but she wanted to wait until their first year anniversary before taking the big step.
Now Brian told the Ray D’Arcy Show that “it’s very exciting” that his second child will be born later this year, but admits Sadie is slightly clueless.
He added: “She knows there’s a baby – she goes and kissed the bump. But she doesn’t really have a clue, she’s only 21-months-old.”

BOD is promoting his new autobiography The Test, and in it reveals how Amy told him she was pregnant with daughter Sadie.
The Leinster lad tells how Amy brought him outside to the back garden where he previously proposed.
She then handed him a envelope with a note inside that said: “First there were two and then there were three.”

He added: “It’s a nice moment, a great moment. It’s a few more seconds before I really take it in.
“But when I do it’s the greatest feeling I’ve ever had, hands down. It supersedes any medal.”
