Voice coach Bressie was “surprised” former co-star Dolores O’Riordan had been arrested for assaulting a flight attendant.
The RTE star knows that the Cranberries singer is “having a hard time” following the split of her marriage.

But Bressie has insisted that despite her issues, she is one of the best people he has ever met.
He said: “Me and Dolores spent hours in the dressing room talking. She’s probably the easiest person I have ever spoken to. So I was quite surprised when I read that.
“I know she’s having a hard time at the moment, but I found her to be incredibly calming, which for someone with generalised anxiety disorder is fantastic.”
And Bressie also told the Star that he is delighted his push to make people talk about mental health issues is working.

“I’ve had middle-aged men coming up to me in the pub telling me about their depression, which is great,” he said.
“The print media have been really supportive with the issue, but now it’s time for TV and radio to get on board – and not just with a three-minute interview.
“We need a proper prime-time programme about mental health issues and how to deal with them. These things are very manageable but people don’t know how.”
