Barry Keoghan to be honoured at Oscar Wilde party

Young Irish actor Barry Keoghan will join Mark Hamill as an honoree at the US-Ireland Alliance’s 13th annual Oscar Wilde Awards.

The event will be held on the 1st of March at J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot in Santa Monica.

J.J. Abrams will emcee, with Irish band, The Academic, performing on the night.

Barry, who rose to fame after a small role on Love/Hate, will be honored as the “Wilde Card”, presented to up-and-coming Irish talent.

Saoirse Ronan was a previous recipient of this award. Barry has seen his star rise in the last 12 months, with starring roles in How To Kill A Sacred Deer and Dunkirk.

The Oscar Wilde party is always one of the most highly-anticipated pre-Oscars parties in LA.
