The show’s overall winner of the show will land the opening slot on the girlband’s Summer 2020 tour.

Auditions will take place in Dublin this Thursday 14th November from 5 pm – 8 pm in Mulligan and Haines on Dame Street.

Producers are asking for solo singers and groups to audition with one song prepared as well as a backing track.

Participants will need to be 16 or older on January 31st 2020.

The BBC talent show will rival a new ITV talent show produced by the band’s former manager, Simon Cowell.

X-Factor: The Band is also set to launch next year, and Simon revealed that he turned down an invite to take part in Little Mix’s project.

The music mogul told The Sun: “This is what really happened. I was approached to co-produce that show last year by Little Mix’s management.”

He turned it down citing a “conflict of interest.”

“I told them the problem was we have a conflict of interest because we are launching X Factor The Band in 2020. We were told their show was going to launch in 2021.”
