Doolin Romance With my true love we gazed out, On beauty out of dreams Where lunar landscapes kiss the bogs And gentians speckle greens. He held my hand on Moher’s edge, Where streams and rivers flow We watched the puffins break through shells Revealing coloured glow. He asked me if I’d be his bride To love for ever more, My answer pounding in my heart You’re the one that I adore Then gannets dived and salmon leaped And dolphin’s dance at sea A thousand birds of every hue Sang sweet in harmony We tip toed ore those lunar slopes On this ice created space With floral carpet at our feet On Burren vast woven lace And music flowed from every house With roofs of straw and tile. We danced all night on Moher flags Then kissed by moonlight stile We strolled boreen’s to heather hills With scents of mountain thyme And viewed the church on distant hill Where now our hands entwine. A decendent of this place I am, So someday we might share, With children and their children too This Jewel in Co Clare So if romance is what you seek And Doolin’s down below Immerse yourself in natures gift, And let emotions flow. “With my true love we gazed out, On beauty out of dreams. Where lunar landscapes kiss the bogs, And gentians speckle greens. He held my hand on Moher’s edge, Where streams and rivers flow. We watched the puffins break through shells, Revealing coloured glow,” the poem read.

Aobhín’s father was praised by fans for the gorgeous poem and it ended as: “So someday we might share, With children and their children too. This Jewel in Co Clare, So if romance is what you seek, And Doolin’s down below. Immerse yourself in natures gift,
And let emotions flow.”

The heartfelt tribute was also accompanied by brilliant photos from the wedding, as the mother-of-one shared the pictures on her Insta Story.

John also shared a touching tribute to his wife on the special day as he took to Instagram to say: “Two years and lots of adventures later, will never forget this special day when I married this amazing person ❤️ here’s to what the future holds together. ????”

The father-of-one also shared gorgeous footage from their wedding day, as he stood on the Cliffs of Moher with Aoibhín and beautiful scenery surrounded the couple.
