Bono confirms ANOTHER U2 world tour for 2017

Fans of U2 rejoice! Frontman Bono confirmed that the band will strike out on another world tour next year.

Bono revealed to the Spanish fan group ‘U2 en Espana’ that a new album and tour are in the works. He suggested that this album will be even better than the Dublin-based rock act’s previous album WAR, Independent.ie reported.

“It’s [the new record] not finished yet but you will like it. In terms of lyrics it is stronger than WAR, it has more clarity,” Bono said.

Bandmate Adam Clayton also confirmed that the new record and tour will come within the next 6 months.

The bands previous world tour Innocence + Experience sold out and made over €122 million in ticket sales – making it the third greatest earning tour of 2015. One Direction and Taylor Swift took the top spots.
