ANOTHER Irish model set to replace Aoife Walsh on Dancing With The Stars

Aoife was forced to quit the show due to injury - but who will replace her?

Irish model Alannah Beirne is set to replace Aoife Walsh on RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars, according to reports.

Yesterday, former Miss Ireland Aoife announced that she had quit the show, as she was unable to recover from her broken toe.

In a statement, Aoife said, “I’m devastated to have to hang up my dancing shoes so soon, but it just wasn’t meant to be this time. I want to thank RTÉ and ShinAwiL for the opportunity and their support.”

“I’d also like to wish all my fellow contestants the very best in the competition – I’ll be watching and cheering them on every week. I’m looking forward to getting better and back on both feet again very soon.”

“For now, the dream has ended but I live my life believing that the glass is always half full and when one door closes, another always opens,” she added.

Now, the Irish Daily Star has reported that Alannah, who made it to the final three in Britain’s Next Top Model, will be replacing her.

Alannah will be in for a challenge, as there’s just over two weeks to go until the show airs on RTÉ One – and the rest of the contestants have been rehearsing for weeks.

Although RTÉ are yet to confirm Alannah as Aoife’s replacement, they did tease a silhouette of the new celebrity contestant – and it looks VERY like Alannah.
