Amanda Byram has admitted that her love life was once so bad, that people assumed she was gay.
While the popular presenter is now happily married to TV producer Julian Okines, who she wed in a stunning ceremony last April, she was once very unlucky in love.
“Before I met Julian, I got to a point in my life where I was happy being single. I probably told myself that because trying to find ‘The One’ was so exhausting,” she told the Irish Sun.
“I thought, ‘If he comes along, he comes along’ — but I had got to the point where I had kissed enough frogs that I was done.”

The former model admitted that she was single for so long, that people started to think she was a lesbian.
“In a way I was like a spokesperson for single women. In fact, some thought I was a lesbian, that’s how single I was,” she explained.
Meanwhile, the 43-year-old is set to make her grand return to Irish television this week, as RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars will air this Sunday.
