Pierce Brosnan has given an emotional tribute to Robin Williams after his untimely death.
The Irish actor, who starred alongside Robin in the 90’s smash hit comedy Mrs Doubtfire, wrote a touching letter on his Instagram.
“Dear Robin…you made me laugh like no other,” he wrote.
“You bedazzled the world with your brilliant genius. Mrs Doubtfire and you will forever be in my heart, and the memory of you good man, shall remain constant through out my days.”

“It was a joy to work with you on a film that will be passed on from generation to generation,” he added.
“And to your loving family I extend my deepest heartfelt sympathies and prayers. Peace be with you. Pierce.”
Unfortunately Pierce has dealt with a lot of loss in his life, including the death of his daughter Charlotte last year, and the death of his wife Cassandra.
