A 98-year-old woman was made an honoarary Rose – and it will give you all the feels

The Rose of Tralee may got some criticism but you can’t deny that there were some very special moments this week.

On the final night, while we were all focusing on the finalists, Daithi O’Se did something very special.

The TV host was interviewing London Rose Gráinne Hawkes, who said her grandmother Nora always wanted to be a Rose.

And in a very mushy scene, Daithi asked James Patrice to come out into the audience and make the 98-year-old an honorary Rose.
