80s pop band Bros to return to Ireland after 30 years this summer

Bros have confirmed that they will play two Irish concerts this summer as part of their comeback tour – making it their first Irish gig in 30 years.

Matt and Luke Goss, who make up Bros, will play Live at the Marquee Cork on June 26 and at Botanic Gardens, Belfast on June 27.

The brothers reunited for two O2 London Arena shows last year, after 30 years apart as solo artists

Bros had a huge career and were the youngest band ever to headline Wembley Stadium and played 19 shows at Wembley Arena.

Their debut album ‘Push’ went seven times platinum and the album topped charts in 20 countries.

Matt started his solo career in 1995, where he sold an impressive 5 million albums, and performed a Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace and The Mirage for the past seven years.

While Luke set out as an actor where he starred in Red Widow, Frankenstein and The Last Boy, and directed films such as Hellboy 2, Blade 2 and The Man On TV.

Tickets for Bros go on sale on Monday, February 25 at 9am on Ticketmaster.
