Jeremy McConnell was slammed by angry social media users after posting a Mother’s Day tweet.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, who lost his mum aged 15 tweeted yesterday only to be met with a barrage of insults from followers who accused him of using Mother’s Day to get attention.
After posting the tweet, users immediately sounded off on the controversial reality star.

“How disrespectful to use he’s mum in this way the man has no shame to gain sypamthy,” one user wrote.
“I agree, he’s just trying to do damage control. He disrespected his mum when he gave Steph the locke,” another said.
“Have you no shame?” a user asked the Dubliner.

However, some fan were quick to jump to Jeremy’s defense and insisted there was nothing wrong with his tweet.
“Thinking of you today Jez hope you’re alright and know that she is looking down and is sooo proud of you, love you,” a fan wrote.
It comes after Jeremy confirmed he cheated on CBB girlfriend Stephanie Davis and the pair have ended their relationship.
