Prince William has posed for a picture in the exact same spot his wife Kate Middleton visited when she was just a child.
The Duke of Cambridge traveled to the Roman city of Jerash while on a trip to the Middle East recently.
The Prince was joined by Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein, who led him through the ruins.
When they reached the exact spot his wife, Kate Middleton, visited when she was a child, the pair were greeted by a 2ft by 3ft enlargement of the image she and her family took there back in the 80s.

The old Middleton family photo features Kate, her sister Pippa, and their father Michael.
“Michael’s (Kate’s father looking very smart in his flip-flops,” Prince William joked as he pointed at the picture, “Need to come back with the family for this shot.”
The Duchess of Cambridge moved to Jordan when she was two-years-old, after her father, a British Airways manager, was relocated there in 1984.
The Duchess’ family lived there for three years.
Meanwhile, Prince William referred to Jordan as a “beacon of hope” for the Middle East, referencing his wife’s childhood memories there.
Later that day, Prince William and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan returned to the Beit Al Urdun Palace to watch England play in the World Cup.
Hussein recorded the match on TV for William to enjoy upon his arrival.
Prince William couldn’t watch the @England match live and avoided finding out the score all afternoon. He sat down with the Crown Prince of Jordan to watch a rerun after dinner at the Beit Al Urdun Palace.

William will spend the rest of his time in Jordan visiting Syrian refugees and West Bank, before visiting Israel and the Palestinian territories for the first time.
