As reports of tension between the Royal Family continue, it has been alleged that Prince Harry accused his brother of “trying to wreck his marriage.”
Throughout the past several weeks there have been ongoing reports of a ‘rift’ between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, but now it has been reported that the tension between the Duchesses was actually caused by their husbands.
According to The Sun, a Palace insider said: “It’s my opinion that Harry feels he couldn’t protect his mother, so he’s going all out to protect his wife. This is his way of atoning.”
“He will brook absolutely no criticism of Meghan — and he is so sensitive he often sees criticism or negativity where there isn’t any.”
Another source claimed that Prince William spoke to his younger brother to ensure that Meghan “was the right one”, but the conversation allegedly sparked controversy between the princes.
“He accused his brother of trying to finish his romance before it had begun. The brothers’ relationship has not really recovered,” they alleged.
“Harry stood up for Meghan very forcibly. He really loves her,” another source said.
The new claims come just one week after Buckingham Palace released a rare statement regarding reports of a ‘rift’ between the Duchesses, as they told the U.K. Mirror that the alleged feud “never happened.”
