Prince Harry has flown back to the place he ‘fell in love’ with Meghan Markle – but she’s not coming

Prince Harry has flown to Botswana, the country he and wife Meghan Markle “fell in love” in, but she’s not coming.

The Royal is travelling on his own, to where he described is the “perfect place”.

They spent both their third date, which took place in 2016, and Meghan’s 36th birthday last year in the country.

A representative for Kensington Palace has confirmed Prince Harry will travel without Meghan, and stated it was a “private working trip”, not a holiday or for leisure.

“Harry is on a private working trip to Botswana to join the Annual General Meeting for Rhino Conservation Botswana in his capacity as Patron,” a Palace representative said.

“He attended the Board meeting in Maun and an RCB community project in Xarakao village.”

Speaking previously of Botswana during their engagement interview, Harry said the country was the “perfect place”.

“We camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic,” he said,

While Meghan’s present whereabouts are unknown, it had been reported that she could travel back to the US this summer.
