Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to move out of Kensington Palace in the New Year.

The pair have lived in Kensington Palace’s Nottingham Cottage since their engagement, but have made plans to move out as the prepare to start a family together.

In 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are expecting their first child next Spring, will move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, which boasts 10 bedrooms, a nursery, a personal gym, and a yoga studio for Meghan.

Of course, Windsor is a special place for the Royal couple, as they tied the knot at Windsor Castle on May 19 earlier this year.

In a statement released to PEOPLE, their office said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child.

“Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate.

“The Duke and Duchess’s official office will continue to be based at Kensington Palace,” they added.

According to reports, the cottage will undergo some renovations, as it’s currently divided into five units as home to palace staff.
