Kate Middleton was reportedly left in tears after Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting, ahead of Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry earlier this year.
According to The Telegraph’s Camilla Tominey, the Duchess of Cambridge was “in tears” following Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting.
An insider told the publication: “Kate had only just given birth to Prince Louis and was feeling quite emotional.”
The news comes amid rumours of a rift between Meghan and Kate, following the announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be moving out of Kensington Palace in the New Year.
Over the weekend, a source told the UK Mail On Sunday: “Kate and Meghan are very different people. They don’t really get on.”
Meanwhile, sources have told the Daily Mail’s Rebecca English that there’s been no big falling out between the sister-in-laws.
The insider said: “While there are some tensions behind the scenes, Kate is pretty unflappable and nothing has become bad enough to make Harry and Meghan want to move out. People are genuinely pleased to see them so happy.
“The truth is that there simply isn’t enough room at Kensington Palace for them and I know they have been looking at Windsor as a possibility since before the wedding.”
