Meghan Markle’s nephew, Tyler Dooley, has said that the royal wedding tore his family apart.
The 25-year-old opened up about his family’s relationship with the Duchess and also revealed that he was shocked that Meghan didn’t invite any of her father’s side of the family to her special day.
Appearing on a MTV reality show about his family, Tyler said: “My family has been torn apart. Had we some guidance and assistance, perhaps from the royal family, we could have avoided a lot of this stuff.”
The medicinal-cannabis farmer said that he sees Meghan “as a sister” and that her father, Thomas Markle, “loves her more than anything in the world.”
The 25-year-old also spilled some royal secrets, as he claimed that when he was first introduced to Prince Harry, the 34-year-old went by the name ‘Gary.’
“He was introduced to me as something like Gary or something like that. I sat down there and I thought, he doesn’t want me to know who he is but obviously I know who he is. He was asking me all these questions and I literally could not say a word.”
It doesn’t look like the reality star has any bad feelings towards his aunt, as he said: “”We used to idolise her as kids, her personality is unreal, the smile, she’s phenomenal.”
Tyler is the son of the royal’s brother, Thomas Markle Jr., but the father and son are no longer on speaking terms.
