Meghan Markle ‘appoints her own delivery team’ instead of doctors who delivered Kate Middleton’s children

Meghan Markle has reportedly “appointed her own delivery team” instead of using the doctors who delivered Kate Middleton and Prince William’s children.

Earlier this week it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan’s baby will not be born at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, which has been a tradition within the royal family since 1977.

The Mail on Sunday has now reported that Meghan also won’t be using the team of doctors which are regularly used by the royal family to deliver babies.

“Meghan said she doesn’t want the men in suits. She was adamant that she wanted her own people. It did leave a few of us a little baffled,” a source revealed.

The royals have used gynaecologists, Alan Farthing and Guy Thorpe-Beeston, who specialise in high-risk births, in the past.

The doctors will reportedly have some role in the delivery of Meghan and Prince Harry’s baby, but they will not lead the team as they have done so before.
