Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s move from Kensington Palace has been rumoured to be connected to the alleged ‘rift’ between the Duchess and Kate Middleton.
The former actress and Prince are set to move from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, next year.
The original plan for the couple was for them to move into an apartment on the grounds of the palace, but it was confirmed yesterday that the pair will move outside of the palace instead.
“The initial plan was for Harry and Meghan to move out of their cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace and into one of the main apartments. But there has been a bit of tension between the brothers,” a source told The Sun.
“Kate and Meghan are very different people,” the source added.
The source also revealed to the Mail on Sunday that the Duchesses “don’t really get on”.
It is now believed that the move of the newlyweds could be a result of the alleged rift between the Duchesses, as well as the “tension” between Prince Harry and William.
The news comes just weeks after it was first reported that the couples will create two separate offices, instead of having a joint ‘court’ in Kensington Palace.
