Kate Middleton becomes new Evelina London Children’s Hospital Patron

Kate Middleton has been confirmed as the new Patron of Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

The mother-of-three has regularly helped children’s charities and already has 17 patronages.

Just before her visit with husband, Prince William, Kensington Palace announced the news on Twitter with a tweet: “The Duchess of Cambridge has become the official patron of the hospital.”

According to The Mirror, Kate and William met with patients and families at the hospital.

The Duke and Duchess visited the hospital to celebrate their 150th anniversary since it was founded.

Kensington Palace tweeted about Kate’s new role and how she can help the children in the hospital.

“Her Royal Highness’s new Patronage of @EvelinaLondon provides an opportunity to champion the medical professionals working on the front-line in children’s healthcare, and shine a light on their work supporting children in their early years.”
