Donald Trump has labelled the Duchess of Sussex “nasty” after he was asked to respond to comments Meghan Markle made about him in 2016.
At the time, the Duchess appeared on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, where she stated that she would move to Canada if the current POTUS came to power.
She called his policies “divisive” and said that he was vocally misogynistic.
Donald Trump has now responded to her words, after being informed of them by The Sun.
“I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty,” he retorted.
He went on to say of her new royal status: ““It is nice and I am sure she will do excellently.”
Trump will be making a visit to the UK this coming week.
He will visit Buckingham Palace on Monday, where it is expected that he will meet with The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince Harry.
