Ryan Tubridy has revealed he is no longer a fan of  The Simpsons – and wants it axed.
The 2FM star used to be a major fan and “lived on it”, but feels it has totally lost its way.
He said: “The Simpsons isn’t funny anymore. The Simpsons used to be brilliant, I lived on it.
“When I see it coming on now, I’m like no way, it’s five times in a row.

“Its the same old gags. No. They should just give it the full whack of an axe and let that be the end of it.”
Instead Tubs – who was commenting on the news Krusty the Clown looks to be killed off – prefers Family Guy.
“I think Family Guy is far superior – it’s funnier, it’s cleverer, it’s more on the money,” he said.
“It’s just much better and has evolved into a much better cartoon than just The Simpsons.”
