Voice of Ireland star Eoghan McDermott will be taking over the 2FM breakfast show for the next two weeks.
The TV star – who recently bagged his on show on the station – was today unveiled as the Breakfast Republic host.
But Eoghan admitted he isn’t ready for the programme, adding: “I genuinely need a lot more practice”.

He has been given the reigns while Keith Walsh and Bernard O’Shea go off on holidays, while Jennifer Maguire honeymoons.
And Eoghan joked that he was only there because he was cheap, adding: “I think it’s more down to a lack of money and who could you get in at short notice”
It comes as the Voice presenter’s own show starts on Saturday morning, meaning he will be working for 14 days in a row.
