Presenter Ray D’Arcy wants RTE to bring back Zig and Zag this Christmas.
The Today FM host has said he misses the Christmas special and believes the show “saved Christmas” for years on the station.
Speaking on his radio show Ray was confused to why RTE don’t bring it back.

“Why it isn’t shown,” he asked. Â “There is a market or it.”
A radio listener had written into the Ray D’Arcy Show asking why the Christmas special wasn’t back on TV
“It’s funny to both kids and adults. You don’t see quality like that anymore” the radio fan wrote.
The Today FM host reminisced about his time working with the comedy duo and expressed great pride in having been part of the shows.
“Zig and Zag’s Christmas. I think it was our finest hour” he said.
