Love/Hate star John Connors got into a war of words with 4FM presenter Niall Boylan – calling him “scum”.
The Dublin radio star – who hosts the country’s most shocking late night show – was discussing hunger strikers and terrorism.
Outspoken Niall encountered the wrath of Traveller John, who plays pipe bomb maker Patrick in the RTE drama, after claiming the IRA “were terrorists”.

But the RTE star went online to Twitter to tell him: “You’re scum,” before Niall hit back and told the “idiot”: “Really intelligent tweet. Did it take long to work out how to spell it?”
Fuming John added that Niall had been insensitive towards hunger strikers on a previously show.
He said: “You’re scum. No empathy at all for the hunger strikers. That makes you scum.”
Now John has been invited on to 4FM to continue the feud, with Niall telling the Star: “I disagree with everything he says but I’d love to hear him.
“He seems well versed on the history of Ireland and I look forward to having him on.”
