Ray Foley is hoping to bring some joy to devastated Garth Brooks fans – by putting on their own Croke Park gigs.
Well, almost, instead the 98FM presenter is hosting his own shows with a top Garth impersonator down the road in Dalymount Park next Saturday.
And the former Take Me Out presenter’s Ultimate Garth Brooks Experience will see all the cash going towards Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
 The Ultimate Garth Brooks experience: Ray Foley will host the event and also DJ on the night.
Ray said: “Garthgate has been such a hot topic for the last number of weeks with the station receiving hundreds of texts from disappointed fans.
“We found ourselves in a position to help the situation so we jumped at it. And the best part is 98FM will be able to raise money for Temple Street Children’s Hospital while doing so.”

However it won’t be able to offer a seat for all 400,000 fans – with just 2,500 able to fit in.
The headline act playing on the night is called Ultimate Garth Brooks Experience led by front man Trevor Smith.
