As soon as the sun comes out half of Dublin makes a beeline to the Grand Canal with a bag of cans.
That’s all well and good if people remove the remnants of their cans when they leave but that was, unfortunately, not the case yesterday.
DJ Deece took to Twitter to show people the state the canal was left in and it was shameful.

The Rubber Bandits, recycling advocates known to sport plastic bags as balaclavas, shared his understandable disgust and captioned their retweet of the photos, “F*cking Ireland!”
The lesson: By all means, enjoy your lovely bag of cans but do Dublin a favour and don’t leave them strewn all over the banks of the canal.
