The Spice Girls’ reunion tour has been called off.
The girl group planned to mark their 20th anniversary with a comeback performance, but after Mel C and Victoria Beckham opted out, the reunion has been scrapped.
“Mel C has been telling friends it’s not happening – not for the anniversary and not next year,”a source told the Sunday Mirror.

“She’s not interested in revisiting the band, and neither is Victoria.
“Their decision has made it impossible for the other three to go ahead with plans to tour again. They know it wouldn’t be quite the same to get on stage as a threesome.”
While the group had initially planned to go ahead without fashion designer Victoria; Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B felt they had no option but to pull the plug once Mel C opted out too.
The source explained: “Doing it without Victoria would have been a shame but might have been a possibility, but two missing is too many.”

Mel B previously revealed the group were trying to mark 20 years since their debut album ‘Spice’ was released.
She said: “It’s an ongoing thing we keep talking about and it is our 20th anniversary, so we’re going to do something. We’re just trying to figure that out right now.”
But she had only managed to arrange a meeting with Geri and Emma.
“I met up with a few of my ‘Spicies’ and we were doing a big time reminisce. It’s nice that we’re all still friends and we’re supportive of each other 20 years on … I have such fun memories of all that stuff,” she explained.
“We definitely want to do something because it’s a celebration of us still doing our thing 20 years on and us being a part of each other, so we’ll see what happens. We’re all just kind of in talks right now – I had a nice cup of tea with Geri and Emma, which was lovely.”
