X Factor star Chris Leonard has blasted rumours the band have fallen out with mentor Louis Walsh.
But Chris, from Meath, insisted they are back on track with Louis – although once again they did pick their own song.

He said: “I honestly do not have a clue where people have got that from. My mam sent me a What’s App message of the story and I thought, ‘What is this?’
“I really don’t know where it came from. We did the same this week but in saying that we have a lot of input from Louis. I have so much respect for Louis and so much time for him.
“The man knows what he is talking about and at the end of the day I am only a 19-year-old lad who loves singing.
More success: Chris says Stereo Kicks are hoping to wow again with own song choice
“We are still learning about everything as we go along and Louis’ been in the business since before I was even alive.
“We are not at loggerheads – we talk to him about everything. He listens to us and understands where we are coming from.”
Meanwhile Chris, 19, said Stereo Kicks are hoping for the same success as last week where their performance of The Beatles’ Let It Be and Hey Jude got them a standing ovation.
“We’ve been working hard and keeping our heads down. We did well last week and need to keep it at that level – we can’t afford to drop,” he told the Mirror.
“To get three judges standing on their feet was incredible – they don’t just do that for no reason and it’s a nice feeling as you feel like the hard work you have put in has paid off.
“So we want to get that feeling every week. Last week we took a lot of decisions ourselves and threw in our own ideas and thankfully it paid off.”
