“The first episode that goes out on Sunday, I wanted to do something fun. I said that I don’t want it to be just in the studio, I need to get out and do something every week that’s just a bit different,” he told Goss.ie.

“The first week I played a trick on my fans who were coming to a gig which was in the Marquee in Cork. I dressed up as a busker from Skibbereen with long hair and really scruffy looking.

“I sang Johnny Cash songs with a Skibbereen accent – it was really good fun. None of them knew it was me.

“I did a big reveal to this young lad who was coming up singing at the end. It was good fun, a bit different. They didn’t realise it was me which was cool.”
