Ed Sheeran has finally dropped the official video for his hit single Perfect.
Set in the icy cold Hintertux Glacier in Austria, the video opens with Ed sitting on a train looking at a picture of himself and a brunette girl (Zoey Deutch).
Slipping the picture back into his pocket Ed gets off the train and meets Zoey in a small cafe with the love song playing in the background.
Ed and the cast can be seen skiing, snowboarding, downing shots, singing karaoke and making snow angels – a perfect winter song that fills the viewer with all the Christmassy feels, without a Christmas tree or mince pie in sight.
With a similar sound to Ed’s hit single Thinking out Loud, it was no surprise that the video has drawn some inspiration from both the music video and the Perfect lyrics “dancing in the dark, with you between my arms”.
Ed, after taking Zoey back to the small wooden cabin, whisks her outside and dances with her in the snow with the scene lit up by the moonlight above the two.
And if that wasn’t enough, Ed introduces his cats to Zoey and the pair spend the night playing with them, tumbling round on the floor and laughing together.
