Taylor Swift is tipped to headline Glastonbury in the summer of 2020.
It will be the festival’s 50th anniversary, with Paul McCartney already confirmed to headline.
Taylor will be on tour in Europe at the time, and conveniently has a gap in her tour schedule the weekend of the festival.
Adding fuel to the fire of speculation, festival boss Joseph Michael Eavis revealed that he has confirmed a female headliner that “everybody loves.”
Speaking to BBC Somerset, the festival founder said: “I’ve got two of my favourite headliners already booked…I can’t tell you the second one…you would love her to bits…everybody does…but no names at the moment.”
He went on to confirm that “all of the headliners” have now been booked for Glasto.
Taylor is the bookies second favourite to perform at the festival, second only to Kendrick Lamar.
With Paul McCartney confirmed for Saturday, if Taylor does perform it’s likely she will headline the Pyramid Stage on Sunday.
It is not clear how her current issues with Big Machine Records could impact her potential performance.
