The Script star Glen Power has told how he was left violently sick for six months after giving up alcohol.
The Dubliner had been battling with booze for years – and has now been sober for three years.
But the 36-year-old admitted it was a tough fight to stay away from the demon drink.
He said: “I was violently sick for about six months and I couldn’t sleep. It was probably withdrawals.”

And Glen revealed he decided he had to give up after nearly passing out in front of 16,000 people at a gig in Birmingham.
“I was out the night before for a meal and when everyone went to bed I continued the party in my hotel room,” he told the Star.
“I went to bed around 8am the next morning and woke three hours later to have a meeting with management.
