Taylor Swift REALLY impressed her Irish fans with historic two shows in Croke Park

The European leg of Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour continued in Dublin this weekend and her Irish fans were wowed!

Taylor Swift entered the history books becoming only the fourth woman ever to perform in Croke Park and the first women ever to play two nights at the venue.

The crowd were on edge last night when she informed them that some lovely locals had taught her a few words of Irish the night previous assuming they’d misled her about the meaning of the words she was about to utter but much to everyone’s delight she rattled off great Gaeilge at three different points in the concert.

“Céad míle fáilte,” followed by “Conas atá sibh?” and finally a “Dia dhuit,” thoroughly impressed the audience in what appeared to be a very nearly full stadium.

As for the rest of the concert, fireworks, flamethrowers and confetti were all complimented by light up wristbands fans were given on arrival which painted Croke Park like a swarm of raving fireflies as night fell.

A great mix of her music, new and old, pleased all of her fans. Being the seasoned professional performer she swapped seamlessly between dancing, playing the piano and the guitar. No bother to her!

She’s off to perform in London next Friday and Saturday and if you didn’t catch her here, the flight over would be worth it!
