Snow Patrol won't have new album out until next year, band reveals

Snow Patrol have revealed they won’t be releasing their next album for a year.

Frontman Gary Lightbody said the band plan to bring out their seventh studio record in 2015 – the follow-up to Fallen Empires from 2011.

He told Gigwise: “There won’t be a Snow Patrol record this year, it will be next year.”

But Gary added that he was “gutted” their next album won’t be out in time to mark Snow Patrol’s 20-year anniversary as a band.
