Sharon Corr has slammed The X Factor as “appalling” and sparked rumours about returning to The Voice.
The singer along with Dolores O’Riordan was replaced on the judging panel last year by Una Foden and Rachel Stevens.
“The reason I did The Voice was because I rated it. I felt like it was the anidote to The X Factor which I think is appalling,” she said.

The 45 year old hit out at the bands she claims are manufactured by The X Factor judges such as Little Mix and One Direction.
“You’d almost think that these judges could put these bands together and somehow they have this amazing foresight and they know how to make people superstars,” she told Magic Radio.
“They don’t. Superstars are born. They work at it. They work at their job. They make music. They sing brilliantly. They play brilliantly. You don’t make that,” she added.
