Sharon Corr opens up on her two loves – family and music

Sharon Corr has opened about her two loves – making music and her family.

The Dundalk native has been lucky enough to combine the two, as she and her three siblings, Andrea, Caroline, and Jim, formed The Corrs back in 1990.

“Making music together is very special and we missed that,” the singer admitted.

The band have since reformed since they went on hiatus back in 2006 and Sharon admitted that they’ve matured since then.

“I think as a band we’ve matured a lot and I think the crowd can really feel how much we love what we are doing and that’s infectious,” the mother-of-two admitted to the Surrey Mirror.

“There truly is nothing like making music and performing it to an enthusiastic crowd.”

Speaking about her family, the 46-year-old loves that they are all back together and being on the road.

“We laugh so much! As soon as we get together we just enjoy every moment and savour it,” she revealed.

“Love being on the road – it’s like this bubble of creativity and you get to live outside the routine – which I adore.”

The Corrs are set to preform at Belfast festival, Belsonic, on the 18th of July and tickets are £36.75 including booking fee.
