Shane Filan has topped the charts in the Philippines with his debut solo album.
The former Westlife star had only managed to get to No 3 in Ireland when he released You And Me last year.
But Shane – who is just back from a promotional tour of the Asian country – was revealed as being No 1 in newly released Astro charts.

He also takes the No 3 slot with his Everything To Me EP – beating Australian boyband 5 Seconds Of Summer.
Last year Shane even performed on the final of the Philippines’ version of The Voice.
And Shane admitted a lot of his success is because he feels people in the Asian country are incredibly similar to Ireland.
“Filipinos love love songs. You love big powerful ballads. I think that’s why Westlife went down so well here,” he said.
“Maybe that’s why I go down so well here. People love to sing great songs. I love to sing great songs and I think Filipino people are very similar.”
