Over the weekend, Lewis Capaldi took the opportunity to use his Glastonbury festival slot to pay homage to his feud with former Oasis front man Noel Gallagher.
Noel criticized the 2019 music scene in an interview with Radio X, saying: “Music is f*cking w*nk at the moment. Who’s this Capaldi fella? Who the f*ck’s that idiot?”
The Scottish singer took to the stage as a looped video of Noel’s interview played in the background, before whipping off his parka to reveal a t-shirt with a photo of Noel’s face on it.

Noel has not yet responded to Lewis’ dig, but his daughter Anaïs Gallagher took to Twitter to apparently show her appreciation for the singer’s hilarious move.
“I want to be @LewisCapaldi when I grow up,” she tweeted at the singer.
“The feeling is mutual,” Lewis replied to the 19-year-old model.

Anaïs then replied with a proposal of marriage for the singer, saying: “Marry me?” in a since deleted tweet.
Lewis uploaded a series of snaps from his Glastonbury performance, including a picture of himself posing with Liam Gallagher.
Lewis was not initially bothered by Noel’s criticism. Uploading to social media at the time, he said:
“Number one single – who gives a f*ck? Number one album – who gives a f*ch? Noel Gallagher has just slagged me off. This is dreams coming true.”
“It’s Father’s Day, I’m being slagged off by a man who is old enough to be my Da’ and I’ve never been more happy. I’ve never been more happy. Happy Father’s Day, Noel.”
It’s a reality TV special as the girls delve into The Hills reboot, Love Island and all the drama with the Kardashians on this week’s Gosscast.
