Rocker Noel Gallagher has revealed he shuns fine foods, healthy salads or even alcohol before performing.
Instead, the High Flying Birds star has revealed that the only thing he wants waiting for him backstage is a packet of Tayto crisps.
“I don’t really have any special requirements. I would just eat whatever – I’m not that bothered to be honest,” he said.

“I don’t really eat a great deal before I go on anyway – crisps is all I eat.
“Tayto, the king of all crisps. I think that might have to be written on the packet – the king of all crisps.”
High Flying Birds will kick off their tour in Dublin’s 3Arena next March – and hopes it’ll be a “good omen”.
He told Today FM: “We started our tour last time in Ireland and that went really well so we are taking it as a good omen.”
Meanwhile, Oasis star Noel also spoke to Nicky Byrne on his 2FM show – revealing that he wouldn’t mind looking like the Westlife heart-throb.

Presenter Nicky joked with the singer telling him that someone once believed Noel looked like one of the Westlife members.
“Hey listen, if I look anything like you then I’ll be doing alright. As long as it’s not Louis Walsh. You’re a good looking guy aren’t you? It must have been you then,” Noel joked.
“You don’t want to look like me but I wouldn’t mind looking like you.”
