The Pussycat Dolls are FINALLY set to reunite, after almost ten years apart.
Although their split wasn’t particularly amicable, sources say the former bandmates have settled their differences and plan to perform a series shows next year.
Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has agreed to take part, alongside Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, and Melody Thornton.
A group insider told The Sun, “Talk of the girls Âgetting back together has been rife for a few years now and they have finally found a time which works for them all.”
“They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances but they are excited to be getting out there together again.
“The girls feel the time is right to let bygones be bygones and put any differences they had behind them and celebrate the great songs they made.
“As well as their old tunes, they are hoping to treat fans with new music, too. When they parted ways in 2009 it was only intended to be a hiatus, so it feels like the right thing to do.”
The Pussycat Dolls were a huge success at the height of their fame, and had No1 singles with Don’t Cha and Stickwitu.
However, the band reportedly split due to Nicole’s dominance – and Ashley Roberts previously revealed that none of the members were allowed to speak, except Nicole.
As well as that, in 2012 former member Carmit Bachar, who walked away from the band in 2008, said, “A ÂPussycat Dolls reunion isn’t out of the question. Five of us — and not Nicole — could happen. But all six? Never. Too much water under the bridge.”
