Nadine Coyle vows to finally be a solo success – by using leftover Girls Aloud songs

Nadine Coyle has revealed she plans to finally make a successful solo album – by using left over Girls Aloud songs.

The Derry singer is working with the band’s former producer Brian Higgins – who was behind all of Girls Aloud’s 20 top ten hits.

And Nadine said there was definitely a possibility of recording unused material from the band, adding: “For each album we recorded about 100 songs, easily.

“And Brian has an amazing way of pulling different stuff from different eras and different albums and putting things together from different tracks.

“You record to a bare piece of music and then Brian thickens it up – so you never know what on earth he will have done with your studio time. So yeah, I would love to have something like that.”

The 29-year-old released her debut album Insatiable in 2010, although it was a complete flop after only being available in Tesco.

However Nadine said she doesn’t “have any regrets whatsoever” about the release deal – despite the album only hitting No 47 in the UK.
