X Factor judge Louis Walsh has revealed his new band Hometown are set to record their debut album.
The six-member band will jet to Sweden in two weeks time to lay tracks for their first record with Sony.
“They signed with Sony RCA and they are going to Sweden in about two weeks to record their album, they’ll have a single out soon,” Louis said.

“They are brilliant singers. I went for singers this time, I picked the best six singers.
“I think they are incredible vocally. There is a gap in the market for them,” Louis told Pat Kenny on Newstalk.
The band have quickly been making a name for themselves after their debut performance on the Late Late Show.
